Wired Magazine just ran a small feature about Predicta - a company building custom-finished TV sets in a very 1950s-60s style.
I probably won't be one of their customers for a little while longer, but I have to applaud the great engineering that goes into TVs like their Holiday. What an amazing TV!
Product design for modern TVs has been stuck in the 1980s long enough. I can't wait to ditch our square, black plastic box in the center of the living room for something more refined.
