Now go outside and look at the sky.
A friend of ours, Ayako, invited us to a party of the Omulu Capoeira Group, a non-profit organization that promotes and teaches capoeira here in the Bay Area.
Capoeira is a Brazilian form of martial arts that - at least to my eye - looks far more elegant and fluid than the more aggressive Asian forms of martial arts. And it includes rythmic music and singing as part of the performance, which enhances the experience for the audience quite a lot.
It was very impressive to see the fluid and harmonic (but lightning-fast!) movements of the performers. They even had several children performing with the grown-ups together in one-on-one fights and the kids easily held their own.
